We now have sheet music for the 2008 Homecoming game scheduled for Friday, October 3rd. We will be performing "Flight of the Condor" with this years Brigade. If you would like to get a copy, show up to Jim and Melanie's this Thursday, June 19, at 7 p.m. for our next practice. Going forward we will be practicing there every Thursday at 7 p.m. Don't forget, our next performance is the 4th of July at the Arvin Cemetary for the re-dedication ceremony of the Veteren's memorial. Yesterday during the trumpet sectional we site read the opener, (The Flight of the Condor) while listening to the CD recording. Its a tough selection which requires the trumpets to be well above the staff for most of the song. I got chills when we were all in unison letting it open up wide with a FF volume!!! Goosebumps!!!!!! As soon as I know which of the three numbers that we're going to play at Homecoming with the CBB, I'll get sheet music to all the alums....... Barry
